AZHAR is the biopic of Cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin directed by Tony D'Souza and scripted by Rajat Arora. It is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Pictures jointly. The film traces the journey of Azharuddin's career and his personal life including his political entry. Bollywood serial kisser Emraan Hashmi is playing the lead in 'Azhar'. Prachi Desai is playing the role of Azhar's first wife Naureen and the makers of the film are still hunting for the role of Azhar's second wife Sangeeta Bijlani. However, it seems that Nargis Fakhri is almost confirmed for the role. The film Azhar is slated for a release in May 2016.
